Facilities and Plants Leading up to the 1990s, ENKA had constructed and installed the processing units and smoke stacks at the Central Anatolian Refinery, as well as the aromatics plant of the Petkim Alia�a Petrochemical Center in Turkey and the Arab Potash Potassium Refinery in Jordan. In addition to these projects, ENKA has been active in western Kazakhstan with its joint venture partner, Bechtel, since 1993. Contracts to expand, upgrade and develop Tengiz and Korolev Oil Fields on the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea were awarded and the joint venture has provided engineering, construction, project management, procurement and financial control services for the Client, Tengizchevroil. The completed projects include the construction of a process separation train, field facilities, LPG debottlenecking, sulfur handling, and the modification of the acid gas removal and sweet gas treatment units.
