The “Earth Hour”, which WWF carries out every year to draw attention to rapid loss of biodiversity and nature and the climate change crisis, was held with the concept of “World Solidarity Hour” due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak that affected the whole world this year.
As ENKA, we supported the “Earth Hour” event by turning off our lights in Istanbul and Moscow for one hour between 20:30 and 21:30, on March 28th in order to emphasize the importance of unity and international solidarity during this challenging period, to highlight that we can overcome all global problems with a strong solidarity spirit and to draw attention to the importance of using the world’s natural resources more sparingly and responsibly.
