Carbon and Water Footprint studies, which will be included in the Sustainability Report that will be published for the first time in 2018, have been initiated with the collaboration of the company “GTE Karbon Sürdürülebilir Enerji Eğ. Dan. Tic. A.Ş.” at 14 locations within ENKA Group.
The study will be conducted at ENKA Headquarters, Çimtaş Pipe, Çimtaş Steel, 2 ENKA projects (to be selected), ENKA Power (Adapazarı, Gebze, and İzmir) Plants, ENKA Pazarlama, İstanbul ENKA Schools, ENKA Sports, ENKA Invest (CCI), ENKA TC and MKH locations. With this study, a database for the minimum reporting criteria of CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is expected to be developed. CDP is the world’s most reputable sustainability reporting platform which allows companies to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions and water consumption amounts to incorporate climate change and energy efficiency aspects into their business approach.
