ENKA’s Namakhvani HPP Cascade Project donated computers to the schools in the project affected area, namely Opurchkheti, Derchi and Zhoneti villages of Tsklatubo Municipality, Georgia.

Project Team representatives have held meetings with the school principals in order to identify immediate needs of the schools and it was decided that the Project will undertake renovation of the library in Opurchketi school, as well as renovation works of Zhoneti school.

ENKA is the main investor of the Namakhvani HPP Cascade Project which is currently the biggest investment project in Georgia. The preparatory works for the project commenced in May 2020 and are currently under way at full speed and the project has committed to fulfill the immediate needs of the project affected area during the pandemic crisis as well as structuring its sustainability strategy to create long term value with the local stakeholders within the area.
