In today’s world, where the need for clean water is increasing day by day and clean water resources are being depleted, while ENKA pursues the sustainability of its activities it also considers conscious and efficient use of water resources in its areas as one of its most important responsibilities towards nature.

In this context, ENKA continuously monitors the state of water resources, water stress, drinking water and wastewater quality throughout its activities, takes remedial actions when necessary and aims to raise awareness for water saving among its employees through trainings.

As an example of the water saving projects that ENKA realized, in the Tengiz Oil Field Development Project camp site which is under construction in Kazakhstan a total of 13,780 m³ of water was reused in 2021, through the package treatment plant used to treat toilet water and reuse it as toilet water.

As ENKA, we celebrate 22 March World Water Day with the awareness of using water responsibly, which is one of the most important resources we borrow from nature while carrying out our activities.
