
During the whole month of December, as a part of Self-Sufficient Campus activities, the students harvested the lettuce that they had grown in the school greenhouse.
Participants included the Sustainability Committee, officers of the greenhouse and the students. The lettuce was harvested from the greenhouse and used as an ingredient in the kitchens of the lunch hall. This way, the students were given the opportunity to encounter agricultural activities as well as self awareness and contribution to productivity.
