As ENKA, we place great importance on preserving the shared heritage of humanity and passing it on to future generations. In this context, we are proud to share two archaeological projects we support. We provide support for the works at the “B Church” in the Ancient City of Knidos, as well as for the restoration of the North Building of the Sebasteion temple complex in the Ancient City of Aphrodisias, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In the Knidos project, carried out to preserve and transmit the valuable heritage of the Early Byzantine period, many delicate processes are being meticulously implemented, including the stabilization of walls, conservation of mosaic floors, and the re-erection of marble columns using the anastylosis method.
At Aphrodisias, significant progress has been achieved in the works carried out on the North Building of the Sebasteion; the structure has been scaffolded, and architectural elements have been carefully dismantled where necessary, undergoing repair and reinforcement processes.
We are pleased to contribute to these scientific efforts, carried out by expert teams using modern conservation techniques.
