ENKA is well aware that climate change, the increase in the population and changes in consumption habits are making it more and more difficult to access reliable supplies of clean water. Conscious of the risks in water management and access to water, the company has adopted a responsible approach to water management in accordance with its Sustainability and HSE Policies and in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard. Accordingly, it is working to increase its efforts in water recycling and re-use and to reduce the amount of water withdrawal. It is also pursuing its activities to extend responsible water management to the whole of its value chain.

Accordingly, the total amount of water withdrawn in 2023 decreased significantly compared to the previous year.
