
As ENKA, we celebrate
the Word Wildlife Day which is celebrated by United Nations on 3
rd of March every year and with this year’s theme “
Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet” in light of our Environmental and Sustainability Policies and commitments. In this context, we have planted more than tens of thousands samplings in different locations where we work in 2020 we have performed E-DNA study on Theodoxus transversalis species as known as Striped nerite, we have protected 500 species belonging to Tanacetum Erzincanense which is an endemic species and the nests belonging to Spermophilus Xanthophrymnus species as known as Anatolian Squirrel during the execution of one of our project in Turkey and at our ongoing HPP project located in Georgia a fish biomass calculation study has been performed to identify the species and their population in the ecosystem. We will continue to protect the wild life and the environment at our projects with the light of our Environmental and Sustainability Policies and commitments.
