4th grade primary school students attended “The World’s Largest Lesson” activity with their “Zero Hunger” study.
The goal was to encourage the students to reflect on their choices about food and influence on sustainability in the frame of Global Goals of 2017 “The World’s Largest Lesson” activity. The students wrote a story named “Every plate has a story”, based on a story of food they eat. They reflected on food selections of the society by observing the school’s dining hall and discussed how sustainable they are. They tried to understand different perspectives of farmers of other countries by focusing on their lives, “Human Face of Food Investigations” during their English Lessons.
