On the CSC New Tank Farm Project located in Tengiz, Kazakshtan the construction progress reached 33% and engineering is 98% complete as of the end of June 2016.
Procurement for both offshore and onshore scope is still ongoing. The first EFR Tank shell plates, bottom and roof plates have been erected. Erection of Fixed Roof Tank and Second EFR Tank plates is still underway. Foundation of Third EFR Tank and backfilling were completed.
By the end of June 2016, 2,000 tons of tank plates were erected, 150,000 m3 excavation and 200,000 m3 backfilling were completed and 4,500 m3 concrete was poured. Installation of large bore pipes has just started. Overall EPC progress is circa 55% and the project is expected to be completed in August 2017.
