ENKA’s subsidiary Kasktaş had signed a contract with Mafaheem Al-E’mar on September 19, 2020 covering the shoring works for the safe excavation pit of the foundations of the two towers being built for the National Company for Mechanical System in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The shoring, design of which was made by Kasktaş, includes 8,100 m of secant pile and 5,600 m of anchor works. Secant pile works were started on October 10, 2020 and completed on March 15, 2021. Following the completion of piling works, the excavation and head beam construction works were finished respectively. As of November 15, 2021, the excavation works were completed and the last row of anchor works is ongoing.
The completion rate of works in the scope is 95% and the remaining works are planned to be completed in a short period and handed over to to the main contractor.
