Kasktaş, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENKA, signed a pivotal contract with Almoosa Health Group on September 14th for deep excavation and shoring works of the Almoosa Specialist Hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
The contract works consist of an anchored diaphram wall, foundation bored piles, ground improvement, excavation and dewatering works. This ensures that all preliminary works are planned to be completed to the highest standards before commencement of the main construction activities by the main contractor.
The new hospital will cover an area of 45,000 m², with a total construction area of 325,000 m², making it the largest hospital in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. It will feature a capacity of up to 400 beds and multiple centers of excellence, along with three underground parking floors accommodating up to 2,000 vehicles.
Aligned with international standards for sustainable design and aiming for LEED Gold certification, the facility will prioritize patient and family care and set a new standard in healthcare provision by embracing new healthcare trends and future transformations in healthcare delivery.
