Çimtaş, an ENKA subsidiary has completed the fabrication of all permanent steel structures of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, with a total weight of 105,000 ton, by shipping the last deck block from Gölcük facilities via its own vessel GMK-1 on August 31, 2021.
The last deck block, carrying a 1,500 sqm large illuminated Turkish Flag on top of it, arrived at Çanakkale in the morning of September 1, 2021.
