ENKA established the Design Centre at its İstanbul Headquarters in 2016 to maintain its long lasting culture of design and innovation, and to bring together the design and engineering activities executed with its experienced team under an umbrella department. ENKA became the first Turkish construction company to be awarded the title ‘Design Centre’ by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of Türkiye.
ENKA Design Groups of Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architectural Projects operate within the ENKA Design Centre. The ENKA Design Centre carried out a total of 31 design projects to date, the total contract value of which is greater than 6 billion USD.
ENKA is well aware that its employees are the prime factor for integrating contemporary scientific and technological developments to the processes of the company. It therefore supports the participation of its Design Centre employees in various conferences, symposiums and training activities. Accordingly, Design Centre personnel participated in 41 conferences, 11 symposia, 12 exhibitions and 154 training activities with a total of 1,874 personnel to date.
