In the early 1980s, ENKA continued to sign contracts for increasingly larger scale projects broadening the scope of its operations in Türkiye as well as in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Jordan.
ENKA expanded its activities in Iraq with the construction of the Tasluca and Kerbela cement plants.
