In July 2014, Senimdi Kurylys LLP, founded by ENKA-Bechtel JV, was awarded the contract encompassing the engineering, procurement, construction and pre-commissioning works for the Crude Shipment Capacity (CSC) project of Tengizchevroil LLP. The project is to provide additional storage and export capabilities through the addition of new crude oil storage tanks, switching manifolds and export pumps together with all their associated piping systems, utilities and control systems. The work performed within the scope of the CSC project included the following:

The contract encompassed the onshore procurement and construction activities for the CSC project that were required to provide Tengizchevroil’s existing Crude Tank Farm with additional storage and export capabilities through the addition of new crude oil storage tanks (3 x 50,000 m3 floating roof and 1 x 30,000 m3 fixed roof), switching manifolds and export pumps, along with all their associated piping systems, utilities and control systems. The project aimed to establish an optimal crude tank farm and export system, so that the existing and planned volumes of crude could be delivered to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and Crude Rail Loading without any loss of product quality or interruption in availability.
