ENKA was awarded the contract by Van Oord on 1 October 2014 for the execution of works for Van Oord in the context of their dredging activities for TenizServis LLP / Chevron.

Within the scope of the project, Van Oord was dredging a channel below sea level to facilitate marine logistic support for TenizService LLP / Chevron’s future growth projects in the Tengiz Oil Field.

Chevron was successfully producing oil from the Tengiz field, which is located on the Caspian shore of Kazakhstan and the Future Growth Project has aimed to double the rate of production.

The Cargo Transportation Route Channel Project serves as a route for transporting pre-fabricated pipe rack modules for use in the construction works of the Future Growth Project.

The subcontract and the related works commenced on 1 October 2014 and were successfully completed on 31 December 2017.

ENKA’s responsibilities under the contract mainly consisted of vessel chartering, provision of office/accommodation premises and equipment support to Van Oord.

As part of the Cargo Transportation Route Channel Project (FGP), ENKA had completed the supply of the 31 ea mooring piles & 24 ea Donut fenders and 18 ea of these supplied piles (16 ea mooring piles & 2 ea Vessel Traffic Management System platform piles) were installed at 4 ea waiting places which are allocated along the channel.

In addition, ENKA supplied and installed offshore mooring structures under the contract, which required extensive know-how in the area of offshore construction works.

ENKA was awarded the contract by TenizService LLP on 23 June 2017 for the execution of construction activities (Mooring Piles, Donut Fenders,Communication Platforms and Prorva Access Channel) for TenizService LLP/Chevron.
