The 1,400 MW Bursa Natural Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant was completed and commissioned in 2000.
The 3,830 MW Gebze, Adapazarı and İzmir Natural Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plants have been realized by the Intergen-ENKA partnership as the largest private sector investment in Türkiye, under a build, own and operate scheme. The three power plants started operation in 2002 and 2003.
Having acquired its partner’s stake in its energy investments, ENKA currently generates approximately 30 billion kwh of electricity per year.
