“ENKA TC” being a real estate investment and management company of ENKA in Russian Federation, has been deemed worthy of “Cityscape Future Retail Award in Emerging Markets” at the International Conference for Global Real Estate held in Dubai.
“Cityscape Awards for Emerging Markets-2012 Category: Retail Project” award has been given to ENKA TC for the “Trade and Life Center” project which is under construction for the time being at Metro Molodezhnaya in Kuntsevo district of Moscow. The Award ceremony in which 36 nominee projects in 13 different countries are at the showcase took place in the “Burj Khalifa” building which bears the tallest building of the world title located in Dubai of United Arab Emirates, on 3 October 2012.
General Manager of the company Murat Duran who represented “ENKA TC” at the award ceremony in Dubai said that this success was a big proud for them. Duran has further shared the following information in his interview with TurkRus.Com:
“Our project may be best defined as a “re-development” project. We have been developing a multifunction project which comprises of commercial quarters, office spaces, entertainment centers, sports facilities and residences, demolishing our existing “the first Ramstore” building which was brought into service in 1997 as the first multifunctional trade center in Russia and constructing a new building on the same space. We cooperated with the American “Jerde Partnership Inc.”, ENKA Design Office and local architectural companies for architectural design of the project. In addition, we preferred expert companies which accomplished successful international projects for shop-mix organization, landscaping and building automation.
The project will comprise of 225 of chain stores of various sizes, cafes and restaurants, a hypermarket operated by Auchan, a fitness center, an entertainment center, a multiplex cinema facility including an IMAX theater, A-class offices, two blocks of residences including 150 flats and an underground car park for 2,000 vehicles within a complex which will have a building area of 245,000 m2.”
The complex which is being constructed by ENKA is scheduled to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2014.
Besides this project, ENKA TC has initiated activities for investment of a Trade and Entertainment Center in the city of Sergiev Posad in Moscow Oblast region and an A-class office complex of 36,000 m2 next to the “Kapitoliy Trade Center” located on Prospekt Vernadskovo in Moscow. ENKA TC currently has a trade area portfolio of 9 trade centers which have a total area of exceeding 420,000 m2.
