The Kameno solar photovoltaic power plant project in Burgas, Bulgaria, undertaken by Town Up 8 LTD, a wholly owned subsidiary of ENKA, is making steady progress.
With a planned capacity of 45 MWp and an anticipated annual electricity output of 63 GWh, the investment project is being realised on a total area of 470,000 m². Approximately 80,000 solar panels, 120 inverters and 1,750 tons of steel structure are being used on the project.
As of the end of August 2024, the project has seen significant progress. Engineering designs are nearly complete, and most major materials have been procured and delivered to the site. Overall construction is about 57% complete, with steel structure installation at approximately 76% and PV solar panel installation nearing 79%.
As of the end of August 2024, the project achieved 202 days and 92,464 person-hours without a lost time incident.
