During the 1990s, ENKA continued to offer and expand its comprehensive range of services, from design and procurement to construction, fabrication, erection, operation, maintenance. Various large-scale projects ranging from Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals, Power Plants, Infrastructure to Building Works were undertaken by ENKA in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, the Russian Federation, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Ethiopia, Germany and Croatia. In the late 90’s, ENKA began to extend its real estate portfolio internationally and took a significant step towards becoming an independent power producer in Türkiye. In 1997, ENKA was awarded the rights to build and operate the Gebze, Adapazarı, and Izmir power plants.
