ENKA’s TAIF Business Center project located in Kazan, Tatarstan reached the completion progress over 78% as of 10 September 2019. The project had achieved a 2,935,451 person-hours milestone without Lost Time Incident (LTI) and 943 workers are currently working on the project.
The progress of architectural works is up to 77% with the brick walls of 17,378 m2 of had been built, 9,068 m2 of gypsum board partition wall had been installed and 33,613 m2 of screed had been poured and installation of elevators had been completed. Interior wooden wall cladding, glass partition installation, ceramic / granite/ marble wall covering and floor covering works are in progress. 95% of ceramic floor covering works are completed with 12,204 m2 of completed area.
As for MEP works; installation of transformers, cooling and air conditioning equipment and the heating center are completed and these systems are currently operational. 65,710 m of stainless steel pipes and 8,827 m of steel pipes had securely been installed, 30,492 m2 of duct works, 536.3 km of cables had been pulled, and 16.6 km of cable tray had been installed.
The contract of the project had been awarded in April 2017 and ENKA’s scope of works are scheduled for completion in January 2020.
