Senimdi Kurylys LLP, an equal joint venture between ENKA and Bechtel, is undertaking the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation installation works for the Third Generation Project (3GP) which is to increase the production capacity of the Tengiz Oil Field by an additional 12 million tons per year (260,000 barrels per day) and its gas production capacity by an additional 27 million m3/day.
The project is being carried out using a modularized construction strategy, with modules constructed both at Kazakh coastal fabrication yards and at other fabrication yards in Europe & Far East. By the end of December 2020, the completion rate reached 38% and 1.6 million person-hours of work was carried out without lost time incidents.
