As of the end of June 2021, the completion progress of 3GP mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installation works being undertaken by Senimdi Kurylys LLP (ENKA-Bechtel JV) in Tengiz, Kazakhstan stands at 58.3%.
Manpower ramp-up has resumed and the project has now reached 4,300 personnel on site working on the Client’s priority work areas for completion of the 3GP utilities that support their Pressure Boost Facility. More than 5.6 million person-hours were expended without lost time incident (LTI).
Key accomplishments during the last 3 months include:
- Successful completion of the stacking program (99 total stacks for MEI Green, MEI Blue, and 3GI projects)
- Completed all module and major mechanical equipment set on foundation (total 41 modules set)
- Completed erection of the Train 1 and Train 2 flare derrick steel structures (tallest structures in Tengiz at 180 m high)
- Progress construction on the Maintenance and Operations building, achieving dust free environment in priority 1 Control Room
