As of the end of March 2021, the completion progress of 3GP mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installation works being undertaken by Senimdi Kurylys LLP (ENKA-Bechtel JV) in Tengiz, Kazakhstan stands at 45.40%. The number of employees working on the project reached 4,000 and more than 3 million person-hours were expended without lost time incident (LTI).
The major accomplishments of the project include the completion of stacking 99 modules and setting on foundation of 38 modules, erection of 9,761 tons of structural steel, fabrication of 4,172 tons of pipe as well as 64,300 m of pipe installation.
Furthermore, 68 ea of major mechanical equipment were installed, 339,440 m of cable were pulled, and 13,500 m² of equipment insulation were completed. Architectural, electrical, instrumentation and HVAC works of 5 major buildings, and internal wall works of 1 major building are in progress. Excavation, underground cabling, backfill, and paving works within the scope of civil and underground scope works are ongoing as well.
