West Qurna-2, EPC Electrical Power Generation Plant, An Electrical Power Distribution System & A Fuel Gas Treatment Plant, Stage 1 started in Basrah, Iraq. It was the 1st GTPP Project where ENKA acted as sole EPC Contractor in its history in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals market.
Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up of 3×42 MW Simple Cycle Power Generation Plant and Power Distribution System at the West Qurna Field (2nd Phase). Plant will supply electrical power to the WQ-2 central oil processing facility, the gas treatment plant, waste management complex, oil well pads, the crude oil export pipeline and the 3,000 person accommodation camp. The Project includes three (3) GE MS6001B API Class Heavy Duty Dual Fuel Gas turbine Generators-Simple Cycle 42 MW each at ISO conditions, associated balance of plant and 33kV/132kV GIS switchyard, utilities and infrastructure. The SOW also includes the additional supply of 3 Units of GE MS6001B Heavy Duty Dual Fuel GTGs – Simple Cycle – 42 MW/each with DLN Combustion.
