Çimtaş Steel is awarded the Fabrication and Delivery of Steel Tower contract for 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Project. The bridge will be the world’s longest suspension bridge once completed, with 2,023 m central span and 4,608 m total length.
Within the scope of this contract, Çimtas Steel will execute material procurement, panel fabrication, block formation, trial assembly and delivery to jobsite of 146 Tower Blocks with a total weight of 36,000 ton and total tower height of 318 m. The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is located between Gelibolu and Lapseki at the Dardanelles is a part of Malkara-Çanakkale Section of the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Motorway Project.
