The overall progress of the Umm Qasr BMT Container Terminal Yard 5, Quay Wall & Marine Works Project reached up to 57%

ENKA’s Umm Qasr Basra Multi-Purpose Terminal, Container Terminal Yard 5, Quay Wall & Marine Works Project in Iraq is progressing at full speed.

Filling works of 1-500 kg crushed rock behind the Quay Wall have been commenced as of September 29^th, 2019. As of October 11^th, 2019, overall progress of the project reached up to 57%. 2,311 precast concrete blocks have been fabricated and 1,162 of these blocks have been placed to the foundation of the Quay Wall.
