
In 2023, Sector 1 of the project, spanning a total length of 27.5 km from Pojate to Kosevi, was successfully opened to traffic. Sector 1 establishes a vital link between the city of Kruševac and the Pan-European Transport Corridor 10 Motorway, thereby enhancing connectivity throughout the region.
In Sector 2 and Sector 3, activities such as earthworks, drainage, structures are advancing concurrently, with paving works also underway in Sector 2.
As of July 2024, 43.9 million m³ of excavation, 17.7 million m³ of fill, 620,000 m³ of concrete, 650,000 m³ of sub-base, and 400,000 tons of asphalt works were completed. Over 3,700 employees are working on the project including subcontractors.
A total of 12.25 million person-hours were achieved without any lost time incident (LTI) whilst 34 million person-hours had been worked since the start of the project.
