We’re pleased to announce that ENKA and its client EET Hydrogen have officially commenced ground investigation works at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port — the home of the UK’s first large-scale low carbon hydrogen production plant, HPP1.
Located at the heart of the @HyNet industrial decarbonisation cluster, HPP1 will have a production capacity of 350MW of low carbon hydrogen, capturing 600,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually — the equivalent of taking 250,000 cars off the roads. It will enable the decarbonisation of the @EET group and other vital industrial businesses across the North West, while supporting the UK’s ambition to become a global leader in clean energy.
Congratulations to the teams at ENKA and EET Hydrogen for transforming a bold vision into reality. Together, we’re proud to be driving forward industrial decarbonisation in the North West and paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
