Tengizchevroil LLP has reached a major milestone at its Future Growth Project (FGP) with the safe commencement of crude oil production at the new Third-Generation Plant (3GP) at the Tengiz oilfield.
This achievement marks the start of a gradual ramp-up of 3GP production over the coming months, with expectations to increase Tengiz’s crude oil output by an additional 12 million tons per annum.
Senimdi Kurylys LLP, a joint venture between ENKA and Bechtel, successfully executed the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation installation works for the 3GP between 2018 and 2024, playing a pivotal role in advancing this critical FGP project.
The FGP will also help maintain reliable base business performance while further strengthening Kazakhstan’s standing as a prominent global energy supplier.
