Exciting news on the renewable energy front! ENKA has taken a bold stride into the green future by acquiring 100% of the shares of Town Up 8 LTD in Burgas, Bulgaria. This strategic move grants ENKA a 40 MW capacity photovoltaic power plant implementation and development license.
The upcoming investment project, spread across a vast 470,000 m2 area, is set to feature approximately 80,000 solar panels, 120 inverters, 1,750 tonnes of steel structure, a substation center building, 8 units of field transformers, switchgear centers, and a whopping 600 km of solar cable!
As of December 2023, key pre-construction activities have been underway, including site cleaning, road improvements, and the initiation of the perimeter fence construction. The project is gearing up for an exciting kickoff with steel construction erection slated for January 2024.
