Project Description

ENKA, with its joint-venture partner Bechtel, have been selected to build 111 km Corridors 8 & 10d Motorway Project.

Corridor 8 is a key component of Pan-European Transport Corridor 8, connecting the Adriatic Sea and the Black Sea through Albania, North Macedonia and Bulgaria. The project encompasses the construction of motorway sections, including Tetovo– Gostivar (Section 1), Gostivar–Bukojcani and Trebenista (Section 2), and Struga–Kjafasan (Section 3).

Corridor 10d is a key component of Pan-European Transport Corridor 10, connecting Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Greece. The project includes the construction of the Prilep–Bitola section (Section 4).

ENKA Scope of Services

The project features 7 new interchanges and numerous structures crossing highways, railways, as well as Vardar and Black Drin rivers along the route. The project scope also includes 42 bridges, 27 overpasses, 34 underpasses, approximately 27 million m³ of excavation, 11 million m³ of earthfill, 620,000 m³ of concrete, 2.2 million m³ of subbase and subgrade, 1.1 million tons of asphalt, 600,000 m of anchors and 320 km of guardrails.
