ENKA signed the contract to carry out the San Juan Cruise Port Development Project in February 2024.
The port consists of several piers, the works within the scope of the project will be carried out in the following areas:
Pan American Piers Wharf (Marine Works): It involves works for the new sheetpile wall and capping beam along the frontline of the existing pier, backfilling of the fill area and scour protection at seaside. Installation of related marine furniture is also included.
Pan American Pier 1 and Pan American Pier 2 (Upland Works): It includes the refurbishment and rehabilitation of existing terminal buildings, related steel structures, and apron area to facilitate passenger operations along with landside mooring dolphin renovation.
Rehabilitation of Pier 4 Wharf (Marine Works): It covers the rehabilitation of existing open deck pier structure, including concrete pile cap/beams, piles, mooring dolphins and installation of new marine furniture.
Piers 1-4 Walkway (Upland Works): The works involve the refurbishment of the existing walkway (landside superstructure) route from Pier 1 to 4.
