The prefabrication of piping systems for the conventional power island at the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Plant in the UK, which ENKA contracted with Arabelle Services UK Ltd. (former GE Steam Power Ltd.) in September 2021, is progressing well. Erection and welding works at the site are scheduled to commence in the last quarter of 2024.
Additionally, ENKA is responsible for the design control, procurement, and delivery of insulation materials, as well as the installation of thermal insulation for piping and equipment in the turbine hall.
The construction of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant will enable the generation of zero-carbon electricity, contributing to a secure, low carbon energy supply for Britain.
