The construction of the Kırklareli Natural Gas CCPP, undertaken by ENKA Kırklareli Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. as its own investment, is progressing steadily. Once complete, it will generate 850 MW using natural gas.
As of March 2025, detailed design is 96% complete. The installation of air-cooled condenser, gas metering measurement station, distributed control system, transformers and switchyard is ongoing, while the water treatment plant is complete. Additionally, the completion of the gas turbine assembly stands at 90%, the steam turbine at 83%, and the HRSG at 97%. Commissioning progress stands at 7.38%.
Site construction is approximately 76% complete and the plant is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2025.
