As of early December 2021, Morava Corridor Motorway project in Serbia, which ENKA is undertaking with Bechtel, is progressing intensively in the Sector 1 and Sector 3. Currently, over 2,500 employees are working for the project and 11.4 million m3 of excavation, 4.2 million m3 of fill and 130,000 m3 of concreting works have been completed.
In the Sector 1, majority of earthworks has been completed, and drainage and finishing works are progressing apace. Structure crew has made substantial progress in substructure works and beam installation works are ongoing.
In the Sector 3, excavation and fill works, embankment scour protection works and substructure works are progressing as well.
Bechtel-ENKA JV provided HSE and quality trainings to all personnel working on the project, thereby over 2 million person-hours were achieved without any lost time incident (LTI).
