As of today, Morava Corridor Motorway Project in Serbia, which ENKA is undertaking with Bechtel, is progressing rapidly in the Sector 1 and Sector 3. Currently, over 2,600 employees are working with a superior effort for a wide range of works and 13.1 million m3 of excavation, 4.3 million m3 of fill and 156,000 m3 of concreting works have been already completed.
In the Sector 1, the majority of earthwork has been completed, and drainage and finishing works are in progress. Substructure, beam installation and deck construction works are advancing at a rapid pace by the structure team. In the Sector 3, excavation and fill works, embankment scour protection works and substructure works are progressing contemporaneously.
Bechtel-ENKA JV provided HSE and quality trainings to all personnel working on the project according to the requirements of different disciplines, thereby over 3.8 million person-hours were achieved without any lost time incident (LTI).
