ENKA is advancing the San Juan Cruise Port Development Project in Puerto Rico, following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) in September 2024.
The scope of work includes marine works at the Pan American Piers Wharf, rehabilitation of Pier 4 Wharf and upland works at Pan American Piers 1 and 2.
The project is designed to elevate the Port of San Juan into a world-class cruise destination through the comprehensive modernization of critical infrastructure, strengthening operational efficiency and expanding capacity while unlocking its full potential as a leading international cruise hub.
Scheduled for completion within 24 months, the project is expected to generate significant economic value for the region by creating employment opportunities, boosting tourism-related revenues, and strengthening Puerto Rico’s standing in the global cruise industry.
As of mid-February 2026, the 626-foot Pan American (West) Wharf has been completed, and overall project progress has reached 47.42%.
