ENKA’s project of Umm Qasr Basra Multi-Purpose Container Terminal Yard 5, Quay Wall & Marine Works in Iraq is progressing at full speed. 10th layer block installation commenced on November 19th, and quay block wall became visible above the water.
As of November 25th, 2019, the project reached a total completion rate of 64%, 2,636 precast concrete blocks have been fabricated and 1,891 of these number have been installed to the foundation of the Quay Wall, 44,622m3 Crushed Rock (1-500kg) has been filled behind the quay wall.
