Senimdi Kurylys LLP (founded by ENKA-Bechtel JV) is currently undertaking several projects in Tengiz, Kazakhstan including the 3GI Civil & Underground Services and 3GP ME&I Installation Works projects.
As of September 2018, on its 3GI Civil & Underground Services Project, SK continued pile cropping and head treatment; construction of module foundations and pipe racks; installation of manholes and underground HDPE and LTCS piping; hauling and compaction of 1Bt and 6Fd fill materials for roads and module staging zones; grounding and cable pulling works. More than 27,800 m³ of concrete poured, 11 km of HDPE underground pipe installed, 890,000 m³ of filling material compacted, 318 manholes installed and 68 km of cable pulled with an overall progress of 72.40%. The project is planned to be completed in January 2019.
SK has commenced 3GP ME&I Installation Works Project under a major contract signed with TCO as part of the Future Growth Project / Wellhead Pressure Management Project and will carry out Module Stacking, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation works for Process Plant, Utilities and Sour Water Stripper areas of 3rd Generation Plant. Construction Mobilization Readiness review was successfully completed and pipe spool fabrication started in the facilities of Tengiz. Started in September 2018 the site mobilization activities will continue through the last quarter of the year and mechanical installation works will begin with module stacking and vessel dressing activities.
