ENKA commenced work in 2019 on design and construction of a High-Technology Multifunctional Medical Complex (HMMC) Project in St. Petersburg in the Russian Federation.

The High Technological Multifunctional Medical Complex consists of a main hospital building covering an area of 112,000 m²; an oncology building with an area of 15,000 m², an underground carpark with an area of 22,000 m².

The complex will have a world-class range of modern diagnostic and medical equipment. It will operate its own ambulance substation, polyclinic, accident and emergency unit, trauma center and hospital.

High Technological Multifunctional Medical Complex includes operation rooms, intensive care units, VIP rooms, own laboratory which will also serve other hospitals, children polyclinic, MRI device room, tomography device rooms, X-Ray rooms and proton therapy room which is only available in a few medical buildings all over the world.

PHASE 1:

On October 31, 2019, ENKA signed a contract with LLC “Constructiv” for the “Mobilization, Fence and Excavation Works”, constituting the first stage of the High Technological Multipurpose Medical Complex (HMMC) construction project in St. Petersburg, Russia. The architectural concept design, design documentation for expertise and engineering surveys of the project are also being carried out by ENKA.

PHASE 2:

On October 19, 2020, a Phase 2 contract was signed with the same employer in addition to the Phase 1 contract. The contract includes the supply and installation of 65,000 m³ B25 and B30 concrete, hydro-insulation and MEP elements in the concrete. Additionally, working design works of buildings are also included in the scope of ENKA.

The structures included in the contract are:

• 22,640 m² underground parking
• Structural concrete works for the 14,696 m² Multifunctional Medical Center below ± 0.00 level
• Structural concrete works for the 6,386 m² Oncology Center ±0.00 level

PHASE 3:

On May 7, 2021, ENKA further signed a contract with LLC “Constructiv”.

The third phase consists of construction of Multifunctional Medical Complex above 0+00 level, including a Communicator Collector, Oxygen Station, Diesel Fuel Reserve Warehouse, Distribution Transformer Substation, Covering Area For Disinfection of Transport, Underground Gallery, helipad and Swimming Pool.

ENKA is responsible for all design works, construction works, internal finishing and architectural works, electrical and mechanical systems.
