As of December 2018, 97% of construction works of the 65 km Pristina-Hani i Elezit Motorway (Route 6) had been completed and the first 47 km of the project had already been opened to traffic.
According to current project schedule, all construction works will be completed by June 2019. Bechtel-ENKA General Partnership is currently concentrating on finishing up the third section of the motorway, which passes through mountainous terrain and constitutes the most challenging part of the project.
