As of October 2022, the UEJV almost completed the basic engineering work and made progress in detailed engineering. Shipment of procured major equipment will start in early 2023.
The UEJV engineering and procurement teams are about to complete the procurement of most of the Balance of Plant equipment, reached 65% piling work progress and poured the 1st mass concrete in September 2022. UEJV plans to place the main equipment on the foundation in the 1st half of 2023 after which piping works are planned on major systems.
The “cornerstone” specifically prepared for the project was placed at the ceremony held at the construction site with the participation of the end-customer and all other stakeholders including partner companies ENKA and Uniper .
With the arrival of major equipment and the completion of foundations, the shape of the project will reveal itself significantly by the end of the 1st half of 2023.
