As of March 2023, the 3GP Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Installation Works Project, executed by Senimdi Kurylys LLP (ENKA-Bechtel JV) in Tengiz, Kazakhstan, has been smoothly progressing towards completion. The Pressure Boost Facility Area and Process Area are largely completed on the project. Since the winter season, the project has been steadily improving in terms of progress and performance, thanks to the implementation of lessons learned from previous installations and favorable spring weather.
The current focus is on the safe and seamless turnover of the remaining systems in the Pressure Boost Facility Area and Process Area. The project will gradually decrease the workforce throughout the second half of 2023 and early 2024. Upon the completion of all systems in the Pressure Boost Facility Area and Process Area, all project efforts will be focused on additional pre-commissioning and commissioning-related activities.
