As ENKA, we are proud to announce that the Nassau Cruise Port Project in the Bahamas awarded in June 2020 has been executed in two stages; Marine Works, the first stage of the project, was duly completed; and the second stage, Upland Works is expected to be completed in May 2023. All construction works have been carried out while keeping the port fully operational by maintaining full coordination with the port authorities. The modernized port with new & renovated piers and upland structures allows to facilitate more cruise vessels & yachts and aims to increase the number of passengers to arrive in Nassau by 50% on a daily basis.
As of April 2023, ENKA has also reached 2 million person-hours without lost time incident in this project.
ENKA offers its congratulations to all partners, staff and colleagues, who took part in the project transforming this historical destination to a magnificent shape with new piers, harbors & marinas, a terminal building, a Junkanoo Museum, an amphitheatre, international & local restaurants, shops and entertainment facilities.
