Within the scope of the 1st part of the works in the project; 1,194,457m³ of seabed dredging was performed and after the completion of the seabed dredging, 7,821m³ bedding material and 2,200m³ leveling material were placed underwater at a depth of 17.00m, along the 550m quay wall. After these operations, the erection of the quay wall consisting of 3,177 precast blocks, 287 u-shaped precast blocks with 11 layers and 20,867m³ in-situ concrete production, which served as capping beam at the top, were completed. A total of 120,544m³ of concrete was produced in the project. In parallel with installation of the quay wall blocks, behind of the quay wall was filled with a total of 462,371m³ of filling materials of different sizes. After the completion of these construction works, 46 fenders and 46 bollards were installed.
As of December 1, 2020, 2nd part of the works including manufacturing of crane beam and bored piles are ongoing in the part where the container crane land side will set.
