Work on ENKA’s Besmaya Project located in Baghdad has progressed significantly. As of the end of May 2016, engineering and procurement activities for Simple Cycle scope of the Baghdad Electrical Power Station is almost complete; Combined Cycle works are on-going.
Accordingly, since the commencement of the Project; total of 57,500 m3 of concrete have been poured, 7,800 tons of structural steel and 2,800 tons of storage tank plates have been erected. Overall EPC progress is circa 70% by the end of May, 2016.
400 non-manuals and 2,150 manual labors are actively working for the Besmaya Project.
