The Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation (SMPE&I) works carried out by ENKA for the Concentrator Conversion Construction on the Oyu Tolgoi Underground Project in Mongolia are approaching their final stage. The project has now achieved 99% overall construction completion, with nearly 4 million person-hours worked without any lost time incidents (LTI).
Key systems have been completed and handed over for commissioning and operations, including the Ball Mill, one of the project’s most critical assets. The Grinding Building stands as the last major milestone before the project reaches full construction completion.
In recognition of its excellent performance, ENKA was honored by the client with the “Outstanding Contribution to the Successful Completion of the Conveyor to Surface System” award. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to our project team for their dedication and commitment in achieving this success.
